- I can confirm the 57K serial problem, both from experience and from
- USR tech support, which I finally heard from. The 57K problem appears
- to be a USR problem. I can also confirm that Smith Micro has said a
- fix will be forthcoming for voicemail problems that appear when line
- speeds above 38K are used. When run at 38K, most all my voicemail
- problems disappeared and it is actually usable.
-
- My major gripe has been, like others, the lousy USR tech support.
- Sorry--no 800 support for Sportster owners. Also, that the bundled
- product could have gone out the door with bugs that are hard to miss
- (specifically, voicemail at 115K line speeds) is pretty pathetic.
